Re: Strange stories in local papers..................
Not a local paper etc... But I think the Independent might need a brush up on its geography if it's graphic about tonight's SpaceX launch is anything to go by.

I know Leeds is a 'happening' place - if Maude is to be believed - but that's a little ambitious.

Re: Strange stories in local papers..................
Not strange at all, merely typical of this newspaper.
An area of Oldham has a high virus rate, now falling.
Reported in the Manchester Evening News.
This is a selection of comments that the newspaper allows, because it’s a largely Muslim area. These have been online for hours.
"Biblical dump"
"They live like animals and are so backward they might as well be living in the dark ages."
"Put a wall around the place let them live the way they live like animals."
"a scummy place full of animals. "
Just a hint of ""bigotry.

Not so much a strange story, but just those lovable, nomadic waltzer enthusiasts at it again.

Jesus Christ, Christmas must have been fun. So many presents to steal for.“The woman who died had 107 great-grandchildren and 47 grandchildren...
He added that stanley knives were being used.
"They had them in their possession. I witnessed it.
The 'Mourner' Stanley knife.
The 'must have' funeral accessory for your grieving Pikey about town.

You can’t call them that these days. I believe the correct terminology is Gypo.
