I'm usually a decade or two behind the TV Times, as an early adopter and four seasons in should I bother watching it now ?

It's a great show, but four seasons was the absolute limit. The right decision to end it.

As ridiculous as it seems, it’s advisable to watch bits of the first series and fast forward. Worth watching the second and the remaining series in their entirety.

Not at all, that's why I asked. Sometimes it's a very slow burn with character intros and development etc and I just don't have the patience to commit and sit throught it. I've read a few of the Wiki S1 episodes so I have a flavour.
