A nice start to the day

I find it's a nice start to the day when, walking the dog through very long grass and veg, two deer don't see you until they are only a few yards away. Then they are off. Yesterday it was a fox across the path a few yards head.
My dog, as usual, never saw a thing.

A bat came in my house uninvited last night and was flying around in circles. I was incensed and chased it about with a wooden spoon until it finally fucked off out.
