Joshua Tree National Park? Contemplated a trip through there from Vegas to LA in the summer. Way too long, about seven odd hours so took the quicker, duller route across desolate, non descript hills instead. The road through Bairstow’s quite scenic apparently.

Saw the ghost of Elvis on Union Avenue. Followed him up to the gates of Graceland. Then I watched him walk right through.

The police think that it was a shooting unrelated to our offices. Fortunately nobody was hurt here, but it was likely drug related. One thing I did learn is that if you see a pair of trainers laced and thrown over a telephone line crossing a street, it marks a dealers' territory. This is the view from my window...Carlos J wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 9:52 pmBlimey, Arty. Yeah, heard that before. You need to act like Omar in 'The Wire' and reclaim the area:Arty Morty wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 1:08 pmThe police think that it was a shooting unrelated to our offices.
