Now that Cameron has been given a Barony, will this lead to all the other ex PM''s also being elevated, the last PM to get a gong was Major, and there is some convention that if the retiring PM doesn't get a title the ones following don't get one too. There was some talk that Brown could get the Order of the Thistle which would allow the others to be elevated.
Not sure why Blair didn't go to the Lords when he went, but, of course, he would then have had to declare his income. :lol:

It's not unheard of, there have been other Government appointments from the Lords before, might have been under Douglas-Home or Macmillan.

Just a job for an old boy after his stock options in Greensil didn't work out. Wasn't a very good lobbyist was he, nevermind the tax payer will pick up the bill.
