A bit late notice. Tickets for Eurovision 2024 in Malmö go on sale at 9am tomorrow morning (28/11/23). Ticketmaster again, though Swedish Ticketmaster.
Luckily, I have one as used it for Ice Hockey last year.
Mixed feelings, should I try? When I went to Sweden last year, Malmö was my favourite city of the places I visited. So it should be a no-brainer. Healthwise, it might be more difficult, especially long walking distances
Fuck it, first thing is be awake at 9am tomorrow. Might as well try, will always be able to sell it back to TM resale later. Fingers crossed then.

Re: Eurovision 2024
The greatest televisual event of the year is nearly here. Dates for your diary:
Semi-final 1 - 8pm Tuesday on BBC1..
Semi-final 2 - 8pm Thursday on BBC1.
Grand final - 8pm Saturday on BBC1.
Seems like after last year, the semis are staying on the main channels.
Running order for today:
1 Cyprus
2 Serbia
3 Lithuania
4 Ireland
5 Ukraine
6 Poland
7 Croatia
8 Iceland
9 Slovenia
10 Finland
11 Moldova
12 Azerbaijan
13 Australia
14 Portugal
15 Luxembourg
Top 10 go through. The UK, Germany and Sweden are also performing and can vote in this semi.
Going in totally blind tonight so sort of half scoring tonight.

Yep, I've not seen / heard any of the songs so far either.
Looking forward to the televisual feast of the year .
Apparently, a Swiss rapper is among the favourites this year.
Not a Toblerone wrapper, I presume.

I'm going for the Aussies. Always game for a shot at the outsiders.

Is Sir Cliffs amongst the running this year? It would provide a perfect opportunity for him to get back into the limelight after that dodgy BBC business.

In Italy for the weekend, curious to see if Eurovision is a big thing in the pubs and bars there

Re: Eurovision 2024
Well, Olly Alexander is representing the UK if thats what you mean.. Didn't mind him in 'It's a Sin' but he was in 'Eastenders' the other day as himself and was very wooden and cheesy.
Only heard a bit of Years & Years and not overly impressed, bit as per going in blind here but heard mixed reports of the song.
As to my OP, quite easy to get tickets, got two at reasonable prices. But after some thought, sold them through resale and got full price. They'll be other times I'm sure.
