"The typical arrest was: you’re at home with your family, in your bed, and it's 3 o'clock in the morning. The doors kick down, and they take you out of your bed in whatever you happen to be wearing, and they tell you to say goodbye to your family and give you twenty-five seconds to pack; then you’re gone, and no one sees you again. They take you to the prison, take off all your clothes, shave your head, have you pick out some random clothes from a pile of clothes – hopefully, they don't fit – and then you’re tried; you confess, if you will, and you're off to the prison camp."

Treat me right
I'm still a good man's daughter
Let me in if I break
And be quiet if I shatter

Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.
