Then it’ll be all the People’s Prince and how much he meant to the great unwashed.

Seems like history is repeating itself.
I'm sure that many people care.

The thing is, Paolo, that the Royal family are wealthy enough to pay for their own protection anyway, but given they are who they are the subjects, or tax payers to everyone else, pay for the protection.
Harry has had armed protection bod around him from the day he was born and I think most people will acknowledge that it a person has been used to someone else paying for someone for nigh on 40 years it's a little difficult to have to do without ot pay yourself.

I’m going by the way the media treat him. Which seems to be much like his mother.

it really isn't....you accept that you chose not to be part of the family....and then use your own multi millions to hire a body guard if you feel you're at risk.....

It’s strange how Harry always becomes a hot topic whenever there’s bad news afoot about the Government. I’m wouldn’t be surprised it some of these Papers aren’t secretly delighted he’s around whenever attention needs to be diverted. Looks like it’s happened again.

Very reasonable. You'll never make it in the British media with that kind of attitude.

For those who are complaining about the tax payer cost of this action, £00k was mentioned, don't forget that Harry lost his action and is, therefor, liable for the Home Office Costs, so it wont cost the tax payer anything.

What about the people who are waiting for their cases to be heard while this waste of space clogs-up the courts with his ego-driven fanciful drivel? Tax-payer cost isn't exclusively measured in monetary terms.
