There will still be speculation about exactly what surgery she had which meant 2 weeks in hospital, even major surgery like heart valve replacement only warrants about a week.
If the London Borough of Barnet isn't in London where is it?

You and I have these treatments, and they are after our bed virtually as soon as you come round from the anaesthetic. Whereas she can have bed rest.

Who cares about that, Hillers? I don’t envy her. She has access to private healthcare, so what?

The basic fact is treatment takes as long as it takes. I suspect they did the pathology on whatever they removed from her whilst she was in ward and then did all the cancer scans and treatment plan as well. Good luck to her I hope they caught it early because they'd discounted cancer prior though surgery.

I think it's more or less routine that tests for cancer are done on tissue removed during certain types of surgery, I know that when I had surgery the doctor rang a couple of weeks later to say that nothing had been found after testing.
In both Kate and Charles the cancer was found after surgery for something else.
