It's personal choice though, isn't it?

Not really. I spent 21 years breathing in my parents smoke before I left home, and just hope my lungs weren't affected. I wouldn't even pass an unlit cigarette between them because even the smell of that made me feel sick. Most of the time growing up I didn't know any better or the possible consequences of passive smoking, but as the years went by I spent as much time as I could out of the house.

Both my parents died of cancer. And let's not forget, it's not just about personal choice, it affects everyone, because due to these selfish cunts, the NHS spend millions treating them, and that money could be spent on treating responsible people. Same with the selfish obese bastards.

Note. I realise obesity is no always down to shovelling it in, but a lot of it is down to lack of willpower.

The government did try to tax foods that cause obesity but the same 'freedom' loving MPs pulled the same trick. Personally I regulate fast and fatty foods, give drugs away on the NHS as part of a treatment plan and ban cigarettes.

Who here can hold their hand up and say they've NOT been locked in their flat at 3am by bad men and needed a quick five grand to sort the situation?

Never understood why the mad wing of the Tories what to be UKIP 2.0 and weirdly think Farage will join them after making an entire career from slagging them off. This depressing thread explains why ...

I like Tim, he's a sane Tory. Do we think Sunak will call a leadership election? Worth remembering when Sunak and Truss were running for leader the MPs backed Sunak.
