Don still up in the polls, people shouldn't assume he'll lose. Although I'd personally find that funny.

No not assume he will lose, but I think he will

Have a look at Ziegler's "Thirteen Keys" which has predicted every POTUS election since 2000. It's all running in Biden's favour.

There is a serious question about how well the GOP can mobilise its local operations. There is quite deep unease in the bulk of GOP voters about Trump, demonstrated recently by how Hailey got 15% of the primary vote in Penn despite not being on the ballot.

The press keep confusing MAGA support and GOP support.

The press are just reporting the national polls. I don't even think the majority of the press like Don.

Have a look

Sorry it's not Ziegler, it's Lichtman but the point is that polls this early are pretty poor predictors. Then there's the complication of the electoral college vs popular vote and how well the poll captures what in effect means the need for 50 polls rather than one.
Based on popular vote we would not have had Trump or the last Bush in the White House.
There's been a lot of coverage recently about how Bush jr beat Gore on 2000. It really was a stitch-up and Gore was remarkably gracious about it.

Hope Hicks pretty much buried Don in court. Don's defense is his lawyers for did stuff without his knowledge and she destroyed this.
