You'd hope that the government would have been able to come up with a workable solution by now, wouldn't you?

Nationalise the railways...? A mere plaster on a festering wound, mate. Anyway, fortunately, I won't have to deal with the unions' rubbish much longer as I'm starting a new job closer to home. Thank GOD.

Re: Britain is broken
Look forward to when Labour come in, they will solve the problem overnight, like they will solve every other problem overnight.
If the London Borough of Barnet isn't in London where is it?

Didn't Khan find £36m which he apparently he didn't have to pay off the union and avert a tube/bus/train strike?
Labour HQ must be watering that magical money tree (aka the taxpayers) they are cultivating to solve all the country's problems.

Who has suggested that?
Honestly, birdie, I know you're a nailed-on Tory, but comments like that are just desperate. The Tories have been in power for more than a decade, yet you defend them to the hilt...

Re: Britain is broken
I think I dd post when Sunak as crowned that I wouldn't vote Tory whilst he was PM and that I wouldn't vote for for my MP any more either, and I've kept to that.
Indeed, I wrote to my MP, gave chapter and verse about the disaster which has been the Government since Cameron and the LibDem coalition, Boris fiasco culminating in Sunak and told her that she had lost my confidence with her support for Sunak and I wouldn't be voting for her again.

Re: Britain is broken
Er, really?!?
Every time anyone dares to criticise the Government, there's birdie, deflecting, banging on about Labour.
She's as nailed-on a Tory as you'll ever find, judging by her posts. I suspect you're a Tory, too, Lambers, if you want me to be honest with you.
