As I understand it 'blended', or step-families, live together, not apart, and come together as when it suits them, as la Rayner wants people to believe, so Lammy, IMO of course, was either mislead or just plain lying.

What's wrong with the term 'step family'?
'The Brady Bunch' did all live together, which I did say, maybe you misread.

Unsurprisingly, it is am American term and Vespa explained some situations where it may be used.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

'Damning Reports' is just what we need. That'll show 'em.

Couldn't find a Post Office Inquiry thread but as Horizon started under Labour and continued un the Tories I'll stick this here.

I've been watching the inquiry for a few weeks now, wish I hadn't started because now it's like a flipping sore, you know you shouldn't scratch it but cant stop.

Anyway, tomorrow is Paula Vennells day.
The Chairman, Sir Wyn Williams closed today's proceedings with the advice that the inquiry would resume tomorrow morning at 9.45 and said that 'tomorrow we have Paula Vennells', 'That's right, Sir' said the barrister for the inquiry.
Williams then made the observation, 'that should be fun'.

I genuinely laffed out loud, the old boy does have a sense of humour, and he's right, tomorrow WILL be fun.

Just as not to show any bias I've also posted in the Labour thread, much to the displeasure of the usual suspect.

Bang in the middle of school holidays, how many will bother to apply for a postal vote if they have a holiday booked.

It's not bang in the middle of school holidays.
Usually last two weeks of July and whole of August.
