They were still a League 2 side when they got S and S in, hadn't even made the third tier at that point.

The Walsall have dropped into League 2. They too could drop out of the league with that cunt Bonser as owner. Sad days, could do with Sir Ray Gaydon and Alan Buckley back. :(

Possibly the greatest play-off final of all from 1998. 8 goals and pens that went on and on.
The two teams meet again tomorrow albeit one division lower.

Remember watching that. Was at The Arboretum in Nottingham with a couple of mates. There were a few Mackem students in there who were not best pleased and took vengeance on their glasses and were escorted from the premises. Good times, fun times.

I bet a few Mackems will kick off today . The lateness of Charlton's winning goal will not go down well.
