Bollocks. Sane is good but no one player is that good to save a side as disjointed as Germany.

Rojo made a difference for Argentina.
I'm sure Leroy could have done something similar for Germany.

Rojo (and Argentina) got lucky especially with his right foot. Though I feel for Aguero since his attempted coup failed and he might find himself on the bench for the rest of the tournament.

Matthaus had been commenting on how the body language was poor, no drive, no urgency and that they bottled it because Low was happy to play possession football with crap strikers. Basically, they stopped being Germany and wanted to be Spain.

When you've won the thing four times, and the Euros three, I think you're entitled to be arrogant; yes, and cocky too.

Nah, I've won a box full of trophies, and still the model of humility. :D

Good posts on this thread but I think Fordey tweet is best.

MattForde@MattForde

I love Germany and I've loved the way they've played football for years, so on one hand I really feel for them. On the other hand, I want to see this bloke right now

Obviously from the Hadrian Durham school of sharp anti-German wit. Why would Moller really be that bothered? He scored a penalty against our hapless players 22 years ago to lead his nation towards winning the Euros.
