Doesn't matter. Once they interview under caution there has to be a custody record and PACE applies. Even if the interview is voluntary, the "grounds to detain" must be existent and noted on the custody record, so as I said they need a level of evidence to proceed whether they actually arrest or not.Hillman avenger wrote:They didnt arrest
In fact, this level is very low and expressed as " reasonable grounds to suspect" in the first instance, but the statement of complaint is evidence as soon as it is made, whether verbally or in writing. The existence of this statement in this case would provide the grounds to suspect .

Not just reviving an old thread for the sake of it. There has been progress. Well. if you call another head of the inquiry resigning. I'm not one for conspiracies, but it's almost as if "dark forces" won't allow this inquiry to be completed.

Saville again ! He's fucking dead. Who cares except the victims ? Meanwhile the big inquiry is a shambles in dissaray resignations suspensions Lord knows what else! Saville is the object the conjurer uses to fix your attention while the trick is pulled out of your sight. Humbug

Yes he is dead, so is Adolf Hitler but we still read of things they find out about him/them years after, a lot of people still want to know and read about it.
Those who have had enough of reading about well just don't read the thread, scroll past, it is a simple as that, there are topics on this form I have no interest in so I don't open them to read then make a comment.

It is not so much disinterest more that I see it as a cynical ploy by the establishment and their media running dogs to divert attention from whats really going on.
They did that by throwing titbits about Cliff Richards for years . Thats a busted flush now so its back to Saville

I once ran in a marathon that Savile was in, I saw him trotting along with a crowd trotting with him and the crowds were cheering, I was a faster runner and thinking back I'm glad I was and didn't get drawn in to running with him.

Rather creepy watching the replay of the 2000 interview.
