It's because of Heath that we have the Calais problem.
They would still be marauding across Europe to get here if we wasn't in the EU.
That maybe so with Calais, but with the problem of uncontrolled immigration from within the (ever expanding) EU, we are utterly helpless.
We cannot effectively control our borders whilst a member of the EU- the free movement of peoples is a founding principle.

Plus of course, we now have the EU PAYING jobless migrants to come here: https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j ... EBxVBPgFxA

I suspect you may be right.

Listening to LBC last night, it seems as though Rhodes Boyson & Keith Joseph should also be added to the ever expanding list.

The ones still alive.

One extremely high profile MP in particular springs to mind who I know about through first hand experience (don't worry, I wasn't personally buggered  )

Happy to PM anyone with the persons name, though won't post it on here as I don't want to place mark in a position where he and the forum could face legal ramifications.

The BBC were interviewing some ex security bod who questioned how it would have been possible for Heath to do anything and go anywhere without the security services being aware. He said that if Heath wanted to,go,to,the local,he would have a security man with him plus his driver, at the end of the week the security service would have a meeting and discuss where he had been and what he had done, just to make sure that all security measures were, err, secure. Given the number of people watching him and accompanying him at all times it looks like the security service knew when he farted, let alone buggered some kid.

Numerous times I have seen you rail against regulation as a small business owner - I thought deregulation of markets was a founding principle for you Thatcherites.

Yet here you are you supporting the exact opposite for the labour market.

Is this conversion to socialism part of a mid life crisis?

Labour?

Read in the paper that there was a high ranking Labour MP in the frame, gong back to around 1980, still I. The House apparently. Not many Labour MP's (or of any other party) who have been sitting on the green benches for that long.
