How was it?

I'm guessing... loud?

Loud & extremely far away.

I was in seats at side of stage, level with press......great view. Gutted they didn't play 'I Appear Missing' but we got a ferocious 'Better Living Through Chemistry'

Seem to be a few QOTSA fans here, not for me, Beeky, currently on C4s Rock night with a gig from the Roundhouse. Nearly finished so +1 or 4OD if interested. Not great IMO.

Anyway, Mondays on Monday as per say something interesting from Tuesday and no idea of the playlist, Bummed and old favourites.

Mondays was very good, Rowetta looking stunning, Step On the highlight, Lazyitis sadly lacking Denver was only ok. Lots of dad dancing and not just Bez.

Been persuaded with a cheap ticket to see Ocean Colour Scene on Thursday, not my thing but MILF hunting as she was driving on a school night last night, hmm, but on razz Thursday. [...]

Cheap ticket for OCS did not come through, not so bad, was nay going to pay £28 plus extras for some barely-decent tunes, rubbing and possible fucking when can meet them for free anyway.

I saw The Damned in 1991. At that time they were well past their best and it seemed like a long time since their late 70's/early 80's heyday. I hate to imagine what they're like now!

I don't get it - these bands where supposed to come along and blow away the shite like Queen, Elton and Rod and then themselves be replaced by younger sprogs.etc, etc...buhhrtt...there's this repulsive career codger nostalgia circuit going on.
