Just tried watching Naka. Can't watch that. He plays music in the background and it is very distracting.

Giri is having the day off so Ganguly is there and he is talking about seconding for Anand but not the game in hand. He's been on about it for at least an hour now.

Naka has some low level backgound music on, on his youtubes and twitch vids. Don't mind it, and he err interfaces err joins in with comments. Aas a streamer wanting coin, he must, though got lots of cash. Going to watch him for a bit, he is quite a funny bloke.

Game 7. After Fridays battle royale, would Saturday be a quick draw, which usually happens after epic matches? Another Ruy Lopez for Nepo and first ten moves the same as game 5. White goes for the centre with his pawns but Carlsen holds and pieces are exchanged and a draw on move 41.

Game 8. Another Petrov's Defence, same as game 4. After Nepo plays 9. ...h5 and Magnus checks and offers a likely Queen exchange which would probably lead to a draw. Nepo declines, also doesn't castle and brings his Rook out on the h-file.

Nepo blunders, 21. ...b5 eventually leads to an advantageous Queen and pawn endgame for white which Carlsen will not make a mistake and Nepo resigns on move 46.

Interesting and as per, Nepo is away from the board a hell of a lot and ,lots of comments on the streams about it as even when it wasn't his move, Magnus was mostly there calculating.

Match likely over and two wins in three days. Poor Nepo must be wishing he let the Queens go.
