Yeah it's a shame. His light-hearted topics (spangles, white dog poo, etc) were quite fun to listen to.

I've listened to him about twice since he joined LBC, which surprised me as I thought I was going to like him.

Stick him back on the last nights with a non political format.

Same here. I listened to the first few shows and was really disappointed. I was hoping it would be political but with some humour thrown in. Like Nick abbot's show used to be before Brexit fried his brain.

I gave it a few listens as well, but have to agree. Too boring and I have an interest in politics, but much like the Mikes talking about football, Dodgepot McD becoming serious and having polidical tiscussions isn't fun radio.

I always pop back every few months to see if he's reverted to more light-hearted being spat on by Aussie road rage drivers, or shout outs for the Colonel, fella, down ol' Bromley way. And of course, *whistlesound* seems to have disappeared from his vocabulary completely and replaced with 'all manner of things'.

I'm going to listen to the fella tonight, to see how he is.

Hoping for a Mrs Thatch shoutout.

He thinks he is a political expert now.

He's just a Dodgepot McDougall.

I've just tuned in to the Dodgepot. And BANG on cue! Now at 23:40, that auld witch Syliva "The executioner who'd pull the leaver" in Selby is still ringing in and exactly as I remember - UTTERLY SEETHIN' at the EU.

Ian Collins is an angry man apparently. So angry, he has a new book coming out.
So in the spirit of dodgepottery who would you like to slap?

I sent him a tweet saying "Will buy". He replied, "Thanks Chris".
