Indeed, agents are just spokesmen for their players.

If an agent says something their player doesn't approve of they won't be their agent much longer, and no agent would want to lose a top cash cow like Toure.

I disagree Mr. L.

Why on earth should Yaya have to "apologise" for sommat his agent said?

What kind of nonsense is that?

More importantly, why would the manager of a football club go out on a limb like this and rule out using a very good player because of a few words spoken by an agent?

It us fucking barking if you ask me.

And Guardiola is acting like a childish tit
I think that we can safely say that Toure knew what his agent was going to say and gave him his approval, otherwise he wouldn't have said it.

I don't think it matters where the apologies come from, but I think it's right that he remains out of the sidd until someone does. You cant have players spitting their dummy like this because they have been dropped.

Whether we can "safely assume" anything is neither here nor there.

The reality is the agent said sommat and Guardiola is demanding another man apologise for it.

It is just childish behaviour on behalf of Guardiola and such a scenario would not be played out in any other walk of life but the most childish profession of all.....professional soccer
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

It's childish on the part of Toure and his agent more like. The fat stiff fucker should be asking himself why he was left out and do something about it, instead of whining that he has been humiliated. He obviously over estimates his worth.

Agent just angling for the contract to be paid up and another lucrative pay day.

If it hastens the demise of the yaya/kolo chant at the darts it can only be a good thing

I disagree on both cunts. He wins trophies because he is employed by clubs with a lot of money to spend. Put him in charge of Accrington Stanley and he'd be fuck all good.

The same is true of Guardiola, Zam.

He has only won things at Barcelona and Bayern.....two clubs with lots of money to spend and now he is at City and happily spending their dough.

In fact, to be fair to Mourinho, he put together a teamwhich won a European trophy at Porto, modestly financed compared to many clubs.

I would like to see that boy at Accrington :)

Sport needs characters.

Without the likes of Jose, Clough, Fergie, Botham, Alex Higgins, O'Sullivan, Best, Gazza, McEnroe etc it would be incredibly dull.

Imagine 92 Steve Bruce's managing the league clubs.
Sport needs characters, agreed, what it doesn't need is cunts like Mourinho.

I suspect that had he been in charge of Arsenal for the last twenty years, the Emirates Trophy Cabinet would be much fuller than it is now.

I doubt it. Arsenal, like spurs, wouldn't have given Mourinho the 1 billion euros, which the self-named Special One has spent on transfers in just over a decade..... Yes, that's 1 billion euros

He's won a fair few trophies though, hasn't he? It's not like he's been unsuccessful, is it? If he was, he wouldn't be getting the top jobs.

The game is (sadly) all about money now.

Manchester United's Luke Shaw disappointed with Mourinho criticism

From Manchester Evening News
This is what media do when managers have a go at their players in public.

Still wouldn't want the cunt at my club. I'd sooner keep Wenger, and you know my thoughts on him.

Yup. I'd take him.

I know it would be short term & he'd blow the budget (not that it would ever happen with Levy).

But, as your signature says, I'd like to see us bloody win something meaningful before I shuffle off this mortal coil. Plus, it would be one hell of a roller coaster ride.
