I have it on good authority that The Donald is keen to invest a cool 500 mill in both the GOG and the GOT.

What's the new stadium going to be called then? Scouse Park? The Calm Down Brookside Arena? Oh the possibilities are endless.Petingo wrote: Plans are already well advanced for our brand spanking new stadium to be built on the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey and it seems like that stadium will itself be subject to a huge "naming rights" deal.

I quite like the idea of calling it the Royal Blue Mersey stadium, carc.
But no doubt some mega corporation will megabucks pay for the naming rights and it will be sommat like the Apple Royal Blue Mersey Stadium or the Microsoft Mersey Dome.
Actually I quite like the sound of that.....the Microsoft Mersey Dome

I hate to say it, Pet ol' pal, but I can see some bigwig wanting to call it The Liverpool Stadium (to "put the city on the map" or some such bollocks).Petingo wrote:carcinogen wrote:What's the new stadium going to be called then? Although it would have the advantage of thousands of foreign reds turning up there by mistake evey time Liverpool Football Club were at home...

Mind you, Reg......I think four young lads put Liverpool on the world map forever about fifty five years ago
Bill Gates was beaten to the punch.
