Getting a refund on an Oyster Card.

Post by Bad Blue 2000 »

Was told you could take your OC back to the ticket office and claim back the outstanding balance. Had a card with twenty odd quid on it so asked for refund earlier today. Put my credit card in C&P machine and was given receipt. Checked balance earlier and it's not appeared.
Not that arsed about the cash but don't like being ripped off.
Does it take a day or two or have I been pwopah mugged off?

Adopt a "wait and see" policy.

Top, top advice.

The man with the big ginger beard from 'Sightseers' was on my train today, so maybe it was worth it.

Will take time to pay back the coin. Why though, BB? You'll always need an Oyster Card, Unless you gone non PAYG.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

I've got four or five of them.
I always pack last minute.

No worries. Some machines also give you err cashback and keep the card.

Normally takes 24 hours from the amount to be credited back to your card.
