Saggers don't do his shouty routine now Stanloi is no longer on the station, does he? Fraud.

Still, at the business end of the season, we've been deprived one of Stanloi's three-hour long, mock results predictions :)

Oh fuck, yeah! That always made for a riveting listen, didn't it? :-)

Still, along the same lines we'll have at least one presenter going through the relegation/promotion possibilities on the last day of the season, won't we?

I don't know about you, but I'd rather they just told us who's in the top and bottom 3 as the results come in.

Was this when he went, Brazil-like, through each teams remaining fixtures and predicted differing scores for the same games?

The very one, Bas-o.

Didn't he also do a mock World Cup draw? He really spoiled us.

It's a definite station policy to turn and twist everything on Arsenal to suit their "Wenger out "agenda.
Masterminded by Durham no Arsenal fans get to phone in or get their texts read out if they are pro-Wenger.
There is no explanation about why the station have singled Arsenal out for this treatment but you assume the people that run the station are happy with it.

We had a watered-down, less shouty, less Brummie version although the Swansea predictions went a bit Stanloi. Both the journalists said Swansea wouldn't reach 35 points, Saggers read out the matches and the predictions gave them 14 points to take them to 42. And then Hull wouldn't reach 35 either but 39 instead.

Great extra points you gave and all that.

Danny Kelly routinely does that on the night of the actual draw, putting all the names into a hat and getting it done in about two minutes. It's quite funny, and usually gives better groups than the over-seeded real-life nonsense.

Apropos of nothing in particular ....
If they call the Spurs manager Mo Po, then shouldn't they call the team To Ho?
