Far better accepting we make mistakes and then burying the hatchet. You two have had a truce and although I've been a little cynical, it's been effective and good for you both. Shows maturity. I myself have a big blow out from time to time and then reach a stage where I hold my hand out in reconciliation and it tends to be reciprocated. Horses for courses.

Sadly there are another few posters who on different sides of the political spectrum who display pig headed stubbornness and are totally impervious to any disparate views. This is what's killing D&D. You've made that point before. The "I don't care what anyone says" and "I'm happy to debate BUT will argue with anyone who calls me names" is irritating to say the least. Again, it comes down to weak and selective modding. What can we do?

I actually complimented you for coming out and saying what you feel/think....your opinion is fine, whether someone agrees or not, it's the insipid crap that is wrong....just say what you feel and people will discuss it, and if you think someone is, in your case, racist, say so, then back it up and have that discussion....the veiled insinuations that lead nowhere and just repeat are the issue, not your opinion

Yes, they should be able to say whatever they want, - EXCEPT when it accuses someone of being a criminal or has criminal tendencies, - that's my take on it anyway.
If they want to call me a racist, then it is surely polite to back it up with examples and they could hopefully be debated - it's not too much to ask surely?

I don't know if you're a racist or not, btw. However, I can glean the sort of person you are and the attitudes you hold based on what you post here – and I'm glad I don't share them.

It’s pretty clear that you can’t be persuaded to come clean as to what you really meant by your original remark about my avatar, - pity, but ok, I’ll leave it at that.
As to your change of tack, accusing me of having an irrational fear of muslims – by all means what you mean by that – it’s such a huge subject – give specifics and I’ll answer them.
What I do have, is a belief that islam has a disproportionately large number of followers (when compared with all other religions/cultures) who are in one way or another, ‘incompatible’ with our western societies, - the evidence is everywhere, to see, and the reason I post on this topic so much is that it utterly baffles me why so many people, who must see what I see, yet opt to ignore this disproportionate incompatibility – I just don’t get it.
So anyway, - please explain why you think I have a phobia of muslims if you wish, or otherwise we can agree to disagree, - just please think twice before you call someone a racist, ok?
