Reported that Arsenal made an offer of £75m plus £17m in add-ons, Monaco pulled out of the deal. Another account says that Lemar didn't want to play for a club in the Thursday Night Cup. Da pule apparently offer only 75m Euros which was immediately rejected.

Liverpool can't buy Lemar without Coutinho going
Arsenal can't buy Lemar without Sanchez going.
Stop press -Lemar going nowhere playing in half an hour for France v Netherlands
£92m bid from the Gooners has been turned down.
Fake bid from Arsenal the player was playing for France an hour later

Balague's reporting "On Thomas Lemar. Player decided against move to #AFC. Lacazette, Koscielny and Giroud went to his bedroom to convince him (all with France)".
FFS, they probably told him that if he wanted to get mega millions, sit on the bench, play under Magoo, draw a king's salary for life and win fuck all other than the FA Cup then he should come.

Absolute scenes when Arsenal get relegated and finish 14th in the Championship, Wenger signs a new deal and Claude's head explodes.

What's with this recent trend of posters starting season threads about clubs they don't support /have any connection with?
There's this thread, the Utd thread, and the Liverpool thread.

Because in the case of the Arsenal one, there's fuck all persons around who support the club to open it themselves. No Horse, Rupey, Flower, Sean or anyone else but the club is still a good target to laugh at so I'm buggered if I'm going to let the place lie dormant.

Is the failure of this post some sort of clever satire on the failure of the Arse over recent seasons?

Indeed. Looking forward to your Watford thread coming soon, BB
I don't know the answer to your question. Personally, I only start the Spurs thread each year.

Bas - AFTV Facebook page is very entertaining.
Give it a try. Obviously, most of the ranting vids are amusing, but some of the comments accompanying them are funnier still.
