I've given up on 5live breakfast, couldn't bear the banter between Campbell and Burden. For the rest of friday they were playing a clip which included some joke about whether Cambell is 5.11 and three quarters or not.

Just close it down and put the money into Radio 4.

A bit of good news at last, Sarah Brett is leaving. Fingers crossed the replacement doesn't also aim at the 'yoof' market.

Rupert Murdoch is throwing huge sums at his new radio project,Times Radio, targeting many of the BBC’s better presenters. Sadly John Pienaar will be gone from 5Live soon. It’s probably the only non sport programme I listened to.

Radio 2 used to just cover football and boxing matches. I'm not advocating stopping sports coverage, just get rid of the news part and like Sports Extra now open up just for for live sport. Money saved on not employing cunts like Livesey and Nihal could be used for buying sporting rights that TS have got their hands on.
