British Khalifate

It's not unreasonable to envisage a British Khalifate at this point, because that is one if the stated aims of Moslems here, and is implicit in the quoran itself , which calls for an eventual world Khalifate .
( I explain this because otherwise I will be accused of racism or groundless scaremongering).

It is not unreasonable either to notice that certain individuals , including some here, are extremely defensive about Moslems in every circumstance, and will flatly refuse to acknowledge any connection whatever between that religion and bad behaviour including ,in some cases terrorism , and in others a tacit support for terrorists at home and abroad.

Demographically and politically, it seems possible that Islam may well come to rule our country in the future, and it arose in another thread , which made me wonder how this group of loyal apologists for Islam would fare under such a regime.
On the whole they seem to be rebellious individuals who are also very committed to such things as socialism, gay rights, atheism , women's causes and abortion, which are all very much frowned upon in Moslem countries - in fact they are serious crimes in most of them.

Now, if we were to allow the Islamist cause to reach its logical and openly intended conclusion of a Khalifate replacing our democracy and Shariah Law replacing our present system, we would see homosexuals , rape victims etc severely punished or even killed , so my first question to this group is whether they would really like to see this happen .

Secondly , how do they think they personally would get on with the general opinions they hold and generally express so insistently and dogmatically ?

By the way , no one wants to see Moslems persecuted or unfairly treated, so I'd rather not hear that as the rationale behind their opinions. Similarly , please bear in mind that I'm presenting a perfectly plausible hypothetical, so casting doubt upon it actually happening wouldn't be answering the question either.

I'm asking what you'd think and do if it DID happen.

People like homosexuals and intellectuals get persecuted and womens rights..well. Not to mention how non Muslims get treated like second class citizens.
