I remember when the original fappening was released and the rumours were that it was a small group of hackers who shared pics between each other and one of them had gone rogue and released them all.

Wouldn’t surprise me if this group of ‘hackers’ turned out to be the likes of Weinstein and his counterparts, sharing these between themselves and one of them has been turned down too many times and has gone for revenge.

I’m certainly no prude but some of these pics were a lot worse than what you’d expect from your own Mrs, let alone established stars. No way have these pics been getting sent to their partners, these have been job applications under duress.
