With his business interests growing, however, Irani feels he no longer has the time required to continue in the position. He estimates he has dedicated around 40 hours a week to the club over the last few years and, with his company (R&D Advisors) now employing 40 people, he has feels he needs to commit more time to it.

Imagine paying to get advice from that cunt?!

I checked out their website, and was shocked to find that the brother of one my friends works with him!
Next time I see him and I'll ask and find out what he's like (assuming Ronald works in the office occasionally)

All those trophies won and he was at Chelmsford and Old Trafford simultaneously when they arrived.

According to Companies House the company was dormant as of last November, which is a bit.. errr queer when you look at this claim on the website of Essex cricket club from last June

https://www.essexcricket.org.uk/2020/06 ... -advisors/

'About R&D Advisors:

R&D Advisors UK Ltd are specialists in securing R&D Tax Claims for eligible companies. In the last 12 months, they have claimed nearly £12 million for 250 clients, with a 100% success rate. Ronald and his chum were appointed onto the board at Bishop Stortford football club last month.

Hmm, interesting.
Good detective work, Holden.
Perhaps Ronnie is bullshitting – not that he's got previous for that, of course

So, the cunt "demanded" an investigation into the drinking culture at Essex.
Perhaps someone could send them the pics of him on the day of Speedo's funeral with full context.

The most surprising thing for me in this entire story is that Alastair Cook is only 36 and is still playing first class cricket.
A joyless arsehole.

It was the website Cricbuzz who revealed in August how Irani had been forced to stand down from his role as chairman of the Essex cricket committee because of complaints made by the coach and players, including Cook, Simon Harmer and Dan Lawrence.

I know which side I'm on

Ronald can do one. He was a great player for Essex, but he was hardly a saint himself, and you can bet your life that he drank a fair few himself in his playing days.
Cook is far more of a model sportsman than Ronald Charles ever was.
