Why’s it so expensive? You put your pic n mix in the scales and it says £5. People munching their nachos during the movies

Because cinemas make next to Jack shit (seriously, they make a loss on most releases) on ticket sales due to the ridiculous costs of buying the rights of the film.

I once got a blowjob off jenni falconer whilst watching Notting hill in the odeon in Glasgow.

Happy memories.

It'd be interesting if someone opened a high street shop selling those ludicrous boxes of popcorn for £4 , and nachos and hot dogs for about double what they are worth. I suspect it'd be closed again in a few days.
Why do people get gripped by the desire to buy the stuff?

They already do. And you can see a film at the same time too.

Or, dont go to the cinema.

Genuinely dont get why people bother with this any more, overpriced food, uncomfy seats, can't pause the film if you want to go for a shit, when we've all got lovely food or a nice takeaway on speed dial at home and a minimum of a 42 inch screen with the power to watch any film in HD on the day of release thanks to the wonders of chinese piracy.

whatsdapoint

Cause of being able to say they've seen a film? Orr made an evening of it? The last film I saw was Transformers 3 and haven't bothered to go see another since in cinema, as you said, it's easier waiting for it's release on Google Play / iTunes or such with the warmth of home and a decent takeaway.

If you thought otherwise, you'd be wrong.

Or just watching it at home on the day of release on a kodi box at home. In fact, somehow, I managed to watch the one before last star wars film the day before it came out in the cinemas in 1080p, thanks to those magical chinese pirates.

It was still absolutely fucking shit though.

Agree to a point, but some films are better on the big screen, and not talking 3D shite. And if going to the cinemas, go to an independent to avoid the cunts and talkers and chompers. If need to go to an err multiplex, go during the day to avoid the same. And both better for cinema sexual activities.

Cinema City in Partridgeland you can bring your on booze. 8) :drinkers:
