Are there any apps that let you stream movies or tv shows from an iPhone onto a smart tv? I know there are for android

Cromecast or if you have a now tv box it’s built into those as well.

Chrome cast doesn’t work with Apple products from what I’ve read

Works fine on YouTube on an iPhone, what do you use to view your streamed movies?

I want to use one of those apps with all the tv shows and movies . Most movies are removed from YouTube due to copywrite protection

Yes, you can mirror your iphone/ipad/imac direct to your smart TV by using/buying a dedicated Airbeam app for it...TV app is limited to LG, Samsung & Sony mind, use Airplay from iphone to cast.

Fuckin hell, I's still trying to get the hang of my Polaroid and Cassette. IT moves a bit too quick for me, although I have managed to install my Smart TV and V6 box over the last month.

Ain't dat the truth, was looking for a reliable solution for my elderly demented ma to watch some foreign TV without sticking up a dish or using a Kodi box and the like.SlingBox connected to satellite receiver at my end streaming to her ipad streaming to her smart Tv at her end, that's how I found the Airbeam app. ipad also acts as a rather over the top CCTV so I can look in on her every now and then and even have a chat while also trying not to confuse the dear.
