Into 7th now, hope we can remain there until the end of the season. A nice early July European trip to the Faroe Islands is what it is all about.

Everton 1 Albion 1.

Twice in a month we have outplayed Everton and both games have ended level. Credible draws are all well and true but we need to start winning games. These draws are killing our season.

Game overshadowed by the Rondon/McCarthy incident.

Three things - RIP Cyrille, get well soon James, and put it out of your mind Solomon.

Silva sacking obviously points to something going on behind the scenes.

Once again, you have to ask what do clubs like Watford actually expect out of being in the top flight?

Survival at least. The bottom half is so tight and their form so woeful that they've probably acted early but they are heading down the table at this rate.

There seems to be a pattern at Watford where the new manager arrives, the first half (or a decent part of the first half) of the season is smooth and they are comfortable before tailing off. Given their turnover of players, it isn't as though it is the same squad just lapsing into a complacent mood.

To be fair to watford, since Everton turned Silvas head, theyve won 3 out of the last 16 games, they were going down on that form, he'd lost the dressing room, clearly.

Theyve just shown him the same amount of loyalty he showed them.

I'm afraid Spurs are a very poor team now.

It's not looking good Steve, the cost of the 'new' stadium's ballooned from £400m to £750m and they can get £200m for Kane. Talks on new contracts shortly with Alderweirald, Eriken and Alli. Could fall apart which is a real shame. I like Spurs.
