Which is weird because most drivers of German cars think they're God.

That is a ridiculous opinion. You're perfectly entitled to have that opinion, but I think it's a load of tosh. "genuinely unpleasant", FFS…
Eaststand wrote:John Terry was good at football, and english, so you should love him, as you repeatedly say we should support Hamilton because he english, and good at F1, so it shouldnt matter what we think of him as a person. Good one, champ. I can see you're a bright spark. You keep contradicting yourself

No, I don't, Eastie, that's not what I'm saying at all. By your logic, if there was someone with a string of convictions etc, and also a fantastic English sportsman, I would say we should all get behind them – really?
Hamilton is a clean-living bloke who as far as I'm aware hasn't behaved anything like the way Terry has in the past. He's a role model; Terry isn't. That's the point. And your character assassination of Hamilton is vague and unsubstantiated.

Any dislike of hamilton is 'hatred'

and dislike of hamilton is 'irrational'

and dislike of hamilton makes you a 'hater'

if you like hamilton, it's ok

disliking other people in sports is ok, too

hashtag nutjob

I often wondered about those nasty, snidey accusations, thinly veiled, but not quite levelled on here, always blobbing when push came to shove

I wondered if the argument would hold water if someone disliked (irrationally hated) hamilton, but really liked (rationally, of course) marvellous marvin, or edwin moses etc?

For years, that explanation was awaited, but as everyone knew, it was never to happen

hashtag irrational?

what, because we dont support somebody we dislike?

Yeah, that is really weird. Its only been the entire attraction of all kinds of sport since its inception, after all.

the irony of 'irrational' is the irrationality of it all...he sees it...it's his game, he likes it this way hence the inability to articulate any rationale to his ramblings

what, because we dont support somebody we dislike?

No, it's the inability of the Hamilton haters to be truly specific about what it is that they dislike about him so much.
When I get a proper response to this, that will assuage my suspicions about the lot of you.
