West Mercia Police Supt Tom Harding "significantly disputed" the figures.

"I don't believe Telford is any worse than lots of places across England and Wales," he said.

If that statement is supposed to be reassuring, it really misses the mark.

Incredible isn't it. The very people who are paid to take responsibility, simply shift the blame, or say "nothing to see here".

This scandal does not fit in with the Establishment agenda.

Sadly, it's not incredible. It's all too predictable in 21st Century Britain.

I'm not in the slightest. I'm deadly serious.

Is it a coincidence these type of cases "slip" through the net and the authorities "werent aware" each and every time?

Is it fuck. Is it absolute fuck. This shit is enabled, with great gusto.

Well exactly. You have to think it will take personal tragedy to strike, before those tasked with protecting the public, will do anything. While it's "other peoples' children" they seemingly couldn't care less.

I see what you are saying and I agree, that if high profile figures are involved, a cover-up will most likely happen. But the majority of these cases are not high profile individuals.

Blame (poem)

I blame myself.
As a member of this society I've let everyone down;
I cannot honestly say I keep an eye on the young in my neighbourhood.
I'am not the local Batman in the shadows or a sheriff shepherding the innocent herd.
How can I be?
I stare into this screen and drink and then fall down the stairs.

An 'asylum seeker', (who was also found to be one of those adults claiming to be a child refugee) raped & murdered the daughter of an EU official in Germany recently - it would be interesting to find out what his thoughts on the EU's eagerness to islamicise europe is nowadays.
