Should the poorly young boy be allowed to travel to Italy for possible life saving treatment? His doctors in the uk say there is no hope and want to turn off his life support . Surely the parents should decide what happens to their child?

And as for the massed 'usual suspects' outside the hospital. They seem to turn up everytime anything like this turns up. Have they nothing better to do.

Whatever happens to Alfie, they will remember these days for the rest of their lives. Particularly in the last days of his life.

It seems to me that a mob, which no doubt THINKS it is helping them, is depriving them of the time to think and to be with him. If they asked the mob to disperse it would help them, although it might not succeed.

I have only just realised that the hospital in Italy is not offering therapeutic care, just a prolongation of palliative care.

Yes. there seems to be a growing thought that doctors want to kill people. Sad as it is, the kids fucked, hes not getting better, theres nothing more to be done. letting the kid die the most undignified death imaginable as his parent and the troops theyve roused to act like bellends is beyond disgusting.

It just shows that society does not know how to behave any more. Stamping your feet and having a tantrum will not get you what you want.
