This morning the leaders of North and South Korea held an summit meeting producing good cheer, great hope and extraordinary images.

Lo and behold Kim Jong-un doesn't possess two horns and a tail. Who'd a thunk it.

So do I. Trouble is Trump has been in office for over a year & there’s a desperate need to label something a Trump achievement so Trump’s outriders are demanding people celebrate before anyone knows for certain what’s going on. Even Trump is being cautious.

Weird how the propaganda isnt the same as the reality. As someone who is fascinated by north korea, it has seemed for years, lil kim is actually quite all right, in between bouts of eating, hes actually done quite a lot to try and improve his subjects lives, his father was genuinely mentally unwell, but this geezer has seemed to, by all accounts, try to improve the country.

I think the best we can hope is that he’s a bit less of a tyrant & more willing to negotiate than his father & grandad.
