Sid will think your intelligent, put up another book.
Obsessed.
You do appear to be with TKMin.
Can we just keep to books reading?

Apparently not. So posts dumped.

It ain't hard. Final warning to those involved.

Don't post shit in this section towards and about others.

This is a book thread FFS. Plenty of threads in 'Pandemonium' to beef about others.

Passed his trip to Japan and world travels, mail order business starting and now on to Nike.

Confused as opinions on him so far, so will continue. Never a Nike wearer but will not affect review.

Lady Chatterley's Lover (1928)

Haven't reached the "yikes" bit yet; for some reason, I'm trying to imagine Mellors' accent (Nottinghamshire? idk). Disability aside, Clifford seems like a knob 'ead, the worst kind of man.

"Ey up, mi duck". :D

You ever watched 'Saturday Night and Sunday Morning' or 'The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner'? Great films, both based on books by Nottingham author Allan Sillitoe. Though as per, read the books first.

Good Nottingham accents in both and 'Saturday Night...' was set and filmed in Radford, Nottingham where I lived and know many of the streets. Albert Finney sublime:

I know what you mean. I've watched Saturday Night, Sunday Morning –a life long gone.

Wrong Fred but being mentioned in here, Saturday Night, Sunday Morning is a great film, but my favourite of that time was Kes.

Great film. So many great lines in a short clip and so true:

As always, read the book, 'A Kestrel for a Knave'. It is excellent.

I'm reading Devil in the Kitchen by Marco Pierre White. It's not a great autobiography more like a series of unconnected anecdotes.
