Group F- Germany v Mexico
Although form coming into the tournament is not great Germany are experts at tournament football and will be looking to regain their trophy

Think they’re being written off by a lot of people, none less than Nigel Durham who hasn’t exactly sat on the fence when delivering his explosive verdict that they will be dealt a knock out blow in the last sixteen. Always a well drilled, functional side that turn up to do sell in big tournaments. No Sané? Surely one for the future.

I hope the chili inventing cartel guys hump the eventual champions, but I'm not betting on it.

chicarito looks like the default character when you have to make your own character in a video game.

Mexico break with stealth down the left side but slow down at then end and get crowded out. Think this is becoming a pattern.

Superb turn and finish by Chicharito. Still a cracking striker.

Sorry Lozano. I don’t know anyone else in the side other than Chicharito or Vela so it was a default answer.
