Both of you have good points. Yes England look top notch up front and should give any team serious concern and have the confidence now too, but Panama are clearly almost as bad as Saudi and got a goal back as well as about three or four other chances they squandered when they got behind a bit of a ponderous England defence.
Now shake hands like..erm... Englishmen and the Belgium game should prove who is correct.

The good news is that there isn't one obviously superior team in Group H.

Don't think we'll be able to conclude much until the last 16 match.
The Belgium game will be a bit strange for many reasons. But both are through.
Lingard's goal was great. Other than the assist to that goal, Sterling barely touched the ball.

I think the fact rashford never replaced him probably points to him having played his last match for England.
I really fucking hope so.

defence is fucking hopeless.
Everyone should wait till we play Belgium before they cum in their pants.
For fucks sake.
How many did Belgium concede against Tunisia?
How many did Belgium score against Panama?
We win six and STILL complaints. Miserable fuckwits.

On the back of this result against the mighty Panama, I decided to be prudent and have amended my Fools Panel prediction for the game against Belgium accordingly.

Not sure if England's first pen was a pen. Two players just shut the forward out surely?

+2. It’s fair to say that Belgium will get much stiffer tests than Tunisia too.
