His response was - I'm paraphrasing here - 'I was told my face didn't fit, whatever that means'.
As for him shilling for MacKenzie, he must be desperate for coin or something to do.

It started out with some semi decent choice - Lembit Opik doing nights, Jerry Hayes on Sunday, Wolfberg on Saturday night.
I can't see him starting his London Talk Station with this failure on the books.

Love how Private Eye pulled out some old quotes from Kelvin McKenzie's Sun columns about a certain Lib Dem MP. He was being extremely hateful about the politician. Who is, of course, Lembit Opik.
