Nice piece on the news yesterday about how when he was a kid (about 9), he went swimming at a local centre and saw the local junior cycling club going on in a small velodrome over the fence. He looked at it and told his mum that this is what he wanted to do. That club is still going on with boys and girls flying round the track.
