The thing with Jesus is that if he gets laid out in a tackle it'll be three days before he gets up again.

Amazing that the ref who sent Milner off on Saturday was his former PE teacher Jon Moss.

He doesn't even look fit enough to ref PL football. My heart sinks whenever he's in charge of an Arsenal match. You know he's going to make an error, i just pray it goes in our favour.

Give me Mark Clattenburg over him any day of the week.

Not surprised you said that. Clattenburg is a cheat and always did favour the Sky 6.

A few of the lads who sit near me were always anti Clattenburg. I’ve always been of the opinion that there was worse than him about. Martin Atkinson, for a start, another waste of space. There were no English refs at last years WC for a reason.

I think the reason was actually that Clattenburg would have been selected to go but left the Premier League so was no longer eligible.

So you’re agreeing with me about Clattenburg, the best of a bad bunch.

Every one of your bad refs is better than the shite we have to suffer up here.

Years ago the refs up here went on strike over criticism of their performances and, allegedly, threats to their safety. The SFA brought in some foreign refs, although those refs say they were misled over the reason they were to officiate, and to no-one's surprise they were much better than our mob.

A link from 2015 - http://www.scotzine.com/2015/10/can-we- ... -football/

Our refs are again upset over criticism and "threats to their safety" and a strike was talked of - yes, please if we can get more foreign refs over again.

I’d be more than happy to see refs from Europe given a chance over here.. They can’t be any worse than our lot. Unfortunately for the major leagues across Europe, they would have to put up with our bunch of clowns. Not really a fair deal.
