Since Lazyarse of the Kippax End badgered the mods into starting this thread, I've merged it with the other one.

Indeed, Lash.

If you are at a loose end, there's a space in the SPFL supporters lounge for Lash of stockbroker-belt.

Aberdeen-Rangers at midday on Sunday.

With the transfer window closing and the exhibition matches behind us, I have been studying my crystal ball to determine the outcome of the new Premier League season. I expect the North West clubs to battle it out for the title this term with the challenge from the London contenders to fall short.

League title.
1. Manchester City
2. Liverpool
3. Manchester United
4. Chelsea.

Relegation.
18 Huddersfield Town
19 Southampton
20 Cardiff City.

FA Cup Final - Liverpool 3 Chelsea 2.
League Cup - West Bromwich Albion 1 Everton 0. :P
Dieu Le Roi.

Don't give away stupid penalties inside 2 minutes- that might help. Lots of neat play, a few chances and a couple of crap goals given away- very similar to last season.

Plus points from tonights victory

De Gea class again after his world cup blip will still be the best in the world this season

Shaw -goal will give him that much confidence, needs an extended run in the side

Bailly/Lindelof -got to keep them together now ,best pairing by a distance

Fred - decent debut from an all action player who will be a crowd pleaser

Pogba -Make him captain now .World cup winner and he looks to carry his performances there into this season

Pereira - two loan spells in Spain has turned him into a strong midfielder, could be a regular this season
Negatives
---------------------
Darmian -playing as if he wants to be in Italy, give him his wish.

Sanchez -Think we signed a lookalike ,gave the ball away time after time

Rashford - not a number 9 and it looks like he will be on the periphery again this season.

Mourinho -Tactics at home are rank rotten, score an early goal and retreat.Kill teams off and stop being negative
