Was always undecided about Andy Kershaw until he went on Desert Island Discs and admitted he only got into world music because he knew it was unfashionable in the UK and by studying it he knew he would know more about it than anyone else.

So, he didn't get into it for the love of the genre, just a twatty insecure need to know more about it than other people. Fucking tragic.
