Kosovo were on an unbeaten 15 game run therefore it surprises me the level of criticism coming from media and fans alike about England's performance.
Jeesh, you could have Scotland's problems !!

As I said Kosovo were brilliant and would offer some up so fantastic games of football if they qualify next summer. England are looking to win Euro 2020, not an unrealistic expectation for once considering the last 18months and the potent attacking force that we have, however we are right to pick holes in team selection and weaknesses in particular positions.

The playoffs will still be a chance for Scotland and it's still a nice bet to fall back on considering that the other home nations don't that have that to fall back on.

Isn't this action playing right into their hands?

Not really, because if it happened, the game would be awarded to England.
There is no way that Uefa would want to be seen to penalise England (or any country) for taking a stand against racism.

I think that would be unfair on the opponents. It's not they who are racist but their fans. I've no idea how a club can stop this type of behaviour, other than issue deterrents.

Agreed that it's harsh on the players, but if football fans who chant racist abuse had points deducted from their beloved teams, and it made the difference between them qualifying for a tournament or the next round of a cup comp, you can bet that they'd soon shut up sharpish.

I wouldn't bet on it, subster.

UEFA is hardly a bastion of principle and virtue

Who knows?
You'd hope they'd act, though.

TBH, England could even afford to 'lose' a few games and still waltz the group. An absolutely outstanding qualifying record in recent years.

Mon the Scotch. Norn in the Netherlands on 5Live.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Would be nice to see someone like Pickford ,Rice or captain Kane front these condemnations of racism before these matches.

I wouldn't waste your time Carlos watching us play.

Stick on Slovakia - Wales and/or the Netherlands - Northern Ireland match.

Save your Scotland cheering for the Playoffs in March - by god, we'll need them Carlos :)

Got Norn on 5Live, Kevin. Great atmosphere in De Kuip. Bird commentator continously going on about it  and sadly saw a #gawa twat by cunt Murray earlier.

Like Sub on top of page 9. Miss the Scotch at big touneys, 1998 is too long. Though typically funny calamitous Scotch.  Those other worse shitty home nations have done better recently. Norn fair play. Wales another 60 years before they reach a tourney or maybe this time again.

Oranje just can’t break the boys from Norn Iron down though they’re piling on the pressure.
