If he takes 4 wickets in the 2nd innings, he'll match Broad who took 9 wickets in the first two innings after he remodelled his action a year ago. :P

Remodelled so well he had to remodel it again 6 months later and hasn’t taken a wicket in any of 3 opening spells since his return.

Brilliant catch today.

Shannon Gabriel banned for 4 ODI for calling Root a gayer . Root coould never bowl as well with a limp wrist,so it can't be true.

Not England-related but a stunning performance from Sri Lanka and Perera in particular to beat South Africa by 1 wicket. 153 not out, last wicket stand of 78.

New record for a run-chase for an England team. They already hold the top 2 record ODI scores. 481 (2018) ,444(2016).
1-0 up in a five match series. Cook yesterday was already bigging up our chances in the World Cup .

A fine win, and never really looked in doubt, which is remarkable given that we were chasing 360 \:D/

Good article in Cricinfo saying that while Gayle's 135 was impressive, his age is catching up with him – he struggles to run 2s any more and is an absolute liability in the field.

It was a terrible game. WI have lost their last 17 ODI series. We've won our last 7. A West Indian supporting friend called the result at the interval - they only picked 5 bowlers (and that's if you are being generous and consider Bishoo a bowler). Their fielding is lame and running between the wickets a joke.

There are now 4 more of these non events to come (and then 3 T20s), after a cracking test match series that was crying out for a 4th or even 4th and 5th test.

To be fair, he is going to be 40 this year so he’s had a good cricket innings :) .

I’m surprised he’s still playing the 50 over game but I guess it’s one more go at the World Cup this year.

One of the worst LBW decisions you will ever see just then.
Absolute shocker.

Stokes doing that ridiculous review cost us the chance to reverse. Appalling decision.

Not sure my TV will survive if that Cottrell cunt gets the winning wickets.
