Did the senile old fuck and his cunty flunkies actually give a second’s thought about the driver and passengers of the other car, one of whom was a nine month old? It’s all about him isn’t it?

And a fucking unbelievable headline in the news...Doctors give the Duke of Edinburgh the all-clear after he visited hospital for a 'precautionary check-up' following Land Rover crash near Sandringham.

The articles just go on about him, with a cursory mention about the passengers of the other car. If anyone else had driven out of a side road into the path of another car, the first things to come out would be the knives. What's the betting no action will be taken against him, and he'll carry on driving putting the lives of others in danger.

And it looks like he will be back on the road in a jiffy.

Old Bishop John got what for on twatter:
For not mentioning the commoners:
Old Bishop Uncle Tom got it so wrong. Nay Canterbury for you now, John, ever, never. That played so wrong with the plebs.

Good honest Archbishops of Canterbury (sic) would not make schoolboy errors.

Do not be the first to twat. How many times
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

The fawning over these people by Royal journalists is stomach churning.

Drivers of his age did not have a driving test.

When older drivers renew after a certain age their doctor has to certify them.

Phil should definitely be certified, as unfit to drive, although it could all be the sun's fault for rising that day.

Did they really try & blame it on the sun?

He’s not capable of driving and they should have had the awkward conversation with him before now. The younger royals are more culpable than him tbh.

Yep, Phil said he was dazzled by the sun, and if that's the case he shouldn't have moved off

The sun is very low in the sky at this time of year and totally blinding. I've driven several places where I'm almost completely unable to see because of it. I'd say it's the best possible excuse even though I take it with a pinch of salt

Prince Philip would have been about 14 when driving tests were introduced, so he should have taken one when he was older. But he was in the navy when he became old enough to drive so he may have taken a test there. Many who served in the forces got their licences there.

No.
You have only to certify on the renewal form that your eyesight is good enough and that you have no physical/health conditions that would prevent you driving safely. So it is possible to fib.

That's crazy if so. Sounds like he made a very dangerous manoeuvre.

When I pull out of my road to turn right at a certain time in the morning when looking left, I'm completely blinded by the sun, so I turn left, and the journey is a bit longer but much safer.
