I thought you were joking.

No , he wasn't qualified to be making that flight either, and wasn't the pilot named on the flight plan.

Cardiff to pay the first instalment to Nantes put back to 27 February. Note the paragraph with two uses of the word 'wrongdoing'. As per, a lawyerfest: https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... ayment-fee

Actually, without wishing to get too deeply into the said lawyerfest, it depends whether it was still a contract - yet to be fulfilled , or a debt in payment of a contract.

A contract comprises of an offer and an acceptance , but if some unforseen event which is beyond the control of either party happens which makes the fulfilment of the contract impossible , then the contract is void.

Therefore the central argument in this part of the case, ( there will be many others) , is whether or not the contract had been fulfilled at the time of the crash. Nantes will say yes because they'd freed him to play for Cardiff - who may choose to argue that this was merely an arrangement and no actual services had yet been supplied at the material time.

To explain, if you signed a contract for sky TV you would be bound by it, but if they found they couldn't fit it due to some signal problem in your area or such then your contract would be void and you wouldn't owe them anything.

I take no position, by the way. I'm just explaining the potential legal argument as to whether the money is owed .

Oh well, when Cardiff do finally pay Neil's son can take his father out for a slap-up meal with his 10pc of the transfer fee. Trebles all round!

Special Bulletin/Interim Report issued by the AAIB: https://www.gov.uk/aaib-reports/aaib-sp ... ibu-n264db

Gets interesting around page 13 about licences and then cost sharing etc. In no way can the flight have 'common purpose' as per FAA rules. This letter from the FAA explains 'common purpose' well. Click the first link, Bobertz 2009 pdf: http://www.faa.gov/about/office_org/hea ... mit=Search

Final report likely towards the end of the year.

AFIAK, well read it somewhere, :) Sala's transfer was done by FIFA. There is stuff about his Premier League registration: https://www.thenational.ae/sport/footba ... y-1.828446

But if the transfer was sorted, that is Cardiff's problem, not Nantes'. Wille again saying he is being the scapegoat and again Warnock had flown with his flights: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/20 ... -transfer/

Henderson had a commercial licence as seen here and indeed in the very plane:

But, offering out flights to Ibbotson, who doesn't, and his credit card to use. he is also culpable.

So Ibbotson > Henderson > McKay > Cardiff. At least the AAIB are looking at dodgy charters, Cardiiff willl probably get off as not knowing, despite a duty of care to employees and they offered an scheduled alternative. Henderson and McKay hopefully are in the shit.

Merged. And from memory and previous posts and our friends on PPRuNe.

Sala's transfer was done. His registration with the PL was rejected.

As per, this is a lawyer fest and Nantes have done nothing wrong.

Cardiff are looking like cunts if trying to get out of payment:

https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... lid-nantes

All that love the Sala and now desperate to save coin.

Wee Willie a cunt as known: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sport ... McKay.html

Royals. This is your disgusting team.

Absolutely. They don’t want to giveaway 15 million and then wait forever for an insurance claim that may never pay out. Can’t blame them.
