Credit where it’s due, Stuart Broad has been impressive as a summariser on Sky. He’ll be a valuable asset to whichever broadcaster wins the rights to televise the Ashes the winter after next.

Looked like a breeze at 56-5 then No.6 and No.7 Carey and Maxwell set a record for a sixth record with a double-century partnership.
Squeaky bum time.

That Archer no ball proved crucial in the end. Huge partnership by the Aussie pair yet that nearly contrived to lose it at the death. For once, a bit of a tactical error by Morgan bowling Rashid in the last over. Great series.

I thought it was worth a go, bowling Rashid at the end. He's a great bowler. Unfortunately, Starc hit two great shots and that was that.
Cracking series, though, agreed.

Amusing end to the Womens 20-20 with West Indies .
Reduced to a 5 over game due to rain. Who knew that it could rain in England at the end of September ?
The game had to be played so that England could get the much desired 5-0 whitewash .
And England still managed to lose 7 wickets in 26 balls.

Almost the square root of fuck all on the international arena this winter. England begin a three game one day series in South Africa on Friday followed by three T20 games. Yippee.

That missed run out of Bairstow seemed to be the turning point, thankfully.
